SUNSHINE
How I love the sunshine
Such a welcome to the day
Shining on down, a lovely sight
Giving you hope come what may.

It’s so much fun just sitting in the sun
Daydreaming to your heart’s content
Indulging in and enjoying
Sunny rays that are heaven sent.

As long as the sun is shining
It will get you through the day
Uplifting to your heart and soul
Chasing your cares away.

The sun so very welcome
After the clouds and rain
Warm and bright, such a delight
A sunny old world once again.

As long as the stars are twinkling
As long as the sky is blue
You can always rely on the sun
To come a shining through.

PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH
We were halfway home from church one Sunday, when my six-year-old daughter realized that she’d left her Sunday school homework behind. So we turned around and I lectured her on assuming responsibility for her things. I waited in the car and when she emerged from the church she was smiling. Her homework was in one hand and my purse in the other.

Handy Hint

Keep a toothbrush near the kitchen sink. It’s very useful in cleaning rotary beaters, colanders, choppers, graters, strainers and similar kitchen utensils.

FRAFFLES FOR
BREAKFAST

Here is a hint that I’m sure the Happiness readers will enjoy. For breakfast we fry our french toast in the waffle iron. Cooks both sides and the little square impressions hold the syrup nicely!
