Wilks Publications Inc., the producers and publishers of Happiness Magazine, is a family owned business that after 42 years continues to brighten the lives of people all across America and help thousands of businesses promote their services.

Owner and president Gilbert Wilks founded Wilks Publications and Happiness Magazine in the late 1960s in Enterprise, Kan. In 1972, he moved the business to Portland, Tenn. located just outside of Nashville. Diane Wilks Nolan, daughter of Gilbert and Myrna Wilks, today serves as magazine editor.
