  1. When all energy, which all mass today, consists of, popped up in the middle of an empty space, it collapsed under it`s own weight. Since it collapsed, we have gravity, because of the momentum the collapse creates. This gravity, acts like a pushing force. So when mass formed, which is energy cooled down, it formed planets. Over time, since the enviroment was stable, this pushing force, formed a will. Life starts with a will, and over time, the necessary traits was formed by adapting to the enviroment. Since life is self-sustained, it needs energy, and proteins, which it got from plants. I`m not saying energy, is living, but it acts, as this pushing force. So, everywhere in the universe, where the enviroment is stable, and you have plants, life will form. We`re all sons of energy, sort of. When energy just popped up in empty space, it formed mass, because it had orbits, a little like electrons, around a proton. When these orbits cooled down, it formed different mass, but it also formed gravity from the explosion. Since energy can`t be destroyed, when black holes gather mass, it collpases, into a new sun again. When it get`s heavy enough. And since all energy just popped out of nothing, it can happen again. So, life is basically a will, adapted to the surroundings. Why can`t we see aliens yet? Because, it`s been around 14 billion years, and still, no aliens have developed the necessary technology to find us. The reason, may be that we`re hindered by the speed of light, after all. As things travels faster and faster, it get`s heavier, so maybe there`s a limit. A final limit. Black mass, and black energy, haven`t been proven yet. Their best theory, is that galaxies stay together because of the gravity black matter gives off, but I have another take on it. It`s actually gravity from old energy. When suns burn, the energy, get`s old, a little like when your heater at home. It stays around planets and hold it together, beyond just the gravity the planets gives off. Can we live forever in this marverlous universe? No, contrary to the popular belief that the body ages, it`s actually the soul, that ages. You can see it on people, who stays normal all their lives. They only get grey hairs. It`s actually the soul that ages, so if you are under alot of stress, smoke, do alot of physical work, you age faster. The real reason we can`t live forever, is that the cells, which make up your soul, can`t be replaced. Otherwise, it wouldn`t be you anymore. So they age. The soul isn`t a spark, it`s cells in the brain-stem. The brain itself, is only for a little higher level of thinking, while the brain-stem holds your soul, your emotions, feelings, the will, the control over body, and so fourth. It`s not part of the brain, it`s only called the "brain"-stem. It`s under the brain itself, more like a muscle, that makes movement possible. The universe itself, is infinite in all directions, So it`ll never collapse as it expands. If dark matter, actually existed, it would have to be infinite also, which doesn`t sound logical; an infinite amount of something. So, what is energy really, which all matter consists of? Well, it`s not easy to say. It`s warm, it`s bright. It can be turned into mass, it can never be destroyed. Hope you like my writings, I`ve been thinking alot, over the years 😉
  2. I was a journalist at the top of my career with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation when depression and PTSD took hold. I thought my life was over, but I found purpose and self-worth again by volunteering in a school in rural Nepal, 18 months after the earthquakes which claimed 9000 lives. I still have some bad days, but I now live a life of passion and purpose. I love supporting others and lifting people up. Every person has a story to tell and amazing potential.

  4. I'm just trying to learn to navigate this new chapter in life as a widow, and also start a grief support group to help others as well. I welcome any and all thoughts and insights into what the best way is to do this, I have already started back in college for my bachelor's in psychology, and Biblical studies so any additional insight to what I can do is greatly appreciated. 6. Let me start first guys. The films that created a huge impact in my life are many. I would like to mention a couple over here. 1) Koode - a malayalam film that helped me realise that spend time with your loved ones because no one knows what's in there in future so spend as much time with them as possible 2) Uyare - a malayalam film that conveys that no matter what happens achieve your dreams. There is nothing to stop you. The movie is about a girl who dreams of becoming a pilot, gets acid attacked by her boyfriend, couldn't be able to become a pilot but instead becomes a cabin crew member, and in one incident she proves and realises that she is meant to be a pilot and she deserves that and there is nothing that stops her from living her own dream So what are your favourite films that changed your lives guys?

  12. Hey guys, I wanted to start by wishing you all a happy new year! I'd also like to apologize in advance about my english as it isn't my first language so sorry for the mistakes here and there. I got on this forum in a pretty random way, but I am a firm believer that you always end up where you need to be. I am here to maybe get some guidance, some help, some vision from other people. Sending my questions in the universe and maybe see things a different way. It's going to be a long read, but here is my story. I have 2 degrees from University, one in Physical Education teaching and one in Physical Activity science applied in sports training. During the process of getting that, school and work put a lot of pressure on myself and I dealt with depression and anxiety from all of it, I had some very dark days. I found help, found ways to deal with it all, and even through the darkest days of my life, I kept hoping that things would get better and that I would be happy in the end. I am now 30, I am father to a healthy little girl of 16 months, I am owner of a beautiful house. I work out a lot to deal with my demons and help me get motivated and keep pushing. I work as a Phys Ed teacher and also work part time as a trainer in a prep school program to help me get some more money. As fun as my job are, there is no stability in the line of work I am in. Every year, I am thrown to a new school and even though I am ready to work full time, even more than full time, there is no opportunity for me to do so. I always get the "leftovers", and it's going to be a while before I get to be full time. I am not here to ask for sympathy or to complain, I kinda knew that already, but I didnt think it would be that bad. All of it has put a lot of financial stress on me every year and I dont know what to do. When I work, I am able to get some good money and get my head out of the water, then it goes back to having no opportunities and I start sinking again. I even went to work with a moving and transport company this summer to help me make it through. All of it leads to a lot of questioning from me about life. What do I do, if I try to find other random jobs to help me out, they often dont want to hire me because they know I have my teaching job. Some want me to put teaching aside but I'll make 3-4x what they offer when/if full time. I sometimes think about doing something else, but what do I do? I thought about national police here in Canada, but that asked me to be 4 months away from my daughter. Do I go back to school in something else? If I do that then it really doesnt help with the financial stress that I already have. I feel a bit lost. I have everything I need to be happy but I have a really hard time enjoying life because I am always in financial stress and work wise, I dont feel satisfied, and also feel handcuffed. I feel like I am using like 60% of my potential and it really affects my mood. I really dont know what I am hoping to find on this forum, but maybe some wisdom from someone who went through something similar, or different views from different people, ideas, could help. Even if you have read everything and dont have anything to reply, I appreciate it. Thank you all

  14. SECRET OF LIFE ENJOY MISERY ALSO THE SAME WAY LIKE HAPPINESS WHOLE LIFE & CREATION IS ALTERNATE HAPPINESS & MISERY O Learned and Devoted Servants of God, The human being is reluctant to miseries and enjoys the happy situation. The human being can be compared to an ignorant child, who enjoys the sweets only and is reluctant to chillies. Hence, such a human being is ignorant. The grown up adult enjoys both sweets and chillies in the meals. Similarly, a realized soul enjoys both happy situation and miseries in the life. Therefore, it is only ignorance, which is the inability of art of enjoyment. God created this world with happiness and misery. People enjoy the cinema, which contains both pleasant scenes and tragic scenes. Similarly, people enjoy both sweet dishes and hot dishes in the meals. People enjoy the day and night. People enjoy the hot summer and the cold winter. The whole life and creation is full of alternating happiness and misery. If a person can enjoy both happy times and miseries in the life, he is equal to God. You may say that God enjoys the creation from outside. God also enters the creation in the form of human incarnation and enjoys both pleasant times and miseries in the life span. We see this truth in the life history of Rama and Krishna. Therefore, if you always crave for happiness only and reject miseries, it is unnatural and also ignorance of a child. The knowledge of the Gita preaches that you should enjoy even a top most misery, which is the time of death. If you enjoy both miseries and happy situations, you are in a continuous state of enjoyment. You think that continuous enjoyment comes only through continuous times of happiness in the life. It is not correct. You get bored if you are served only with sweet dishes in the meals. Boring is misery. Therefore, misery is inevitable like summer after winter and winter after summer. The Indians denote happiness through cooling. The foreigners represent happiness through warming, which is heat. Therefore, the happiness to one is misery to the other. What is the reason? The foreigner is mainly exposed to winter, which bores him. Therefore, for a foreigner, the heat is happiness. The Indian is mainly exposed to summer and therefore, cool atmosphere is happiness to him. This is a practical proof that the enjoyment is not confined to happy scene or tragic scene only. This also proves that you can enjoy both happiness and misery. Therefore, it is ignorance to ask God for removal of misery and sanction of continuous happiness. Happiness should lie in the process of enjoyment. Whether it is misery or happiness, you will find real happiness in the process of enjoyment of both. The happiness neither lies in the sweet dish nor in the hot dish. The happiness lies in the process of eating the dish, which may be hot or sweet. If this secret of life is known, you will never pray God for removal of problems and tensions. You will enjoy the problems and tensions and hence, there is nothing to pray God for something. Your prayer to God must be due to your attraction to Him for His excellent personality. Your praise of God must be based on your love for His divine personality. But, today we find most of the people praying God for sanction of continuous sweet dishes. Therefore, the desire for something gets smashed if you know the secret of this concept. Hence, there is no meaning in wishing somebody for a happy new year because continuous happiness bores and leads to misery only. The aspiration for continuous happiness through out the year is based on foolishness and ignorance. On the New Year, you must pray God thinking His divine personality and get attracted for His divine quality. You must at least achieve one of His basic qualities, which is enjoying both happy scenes and tragic scenes in the creation. On the Telugu New Year day, people generally take sweets and sour items mixed as offering of God (Prasadam), which shows the same concept of enjoyment of both happy and tragic movements in the life. This is the divine knowledge in nutshell present in all the divine scriptures of all religions. This is essence of the Gita preached by Lord. He enjoyed continuously in His life and even in the last situation, when He was shot dead by a hunter. This is essence to be learnt and practiced by every human being in this world. 15. Blessed to wake up to see another day! To be able to continue my starting journey Its a slow process but it is worth every step of my Life.🙌🏾
  16. Hello Everyone ! I just want to encourage you to start Your Real Life right now, to start to be Happy and love your Life ! So I wanted to share a bit of my story and hope it will inspire you! Today I remembered how I was a year ago. I was sad, demotivated, I wanted to do a lot of things, to realize my dreams, to change my life and make it better, but I couldn't find the strength in myself to start the transition. l felt like a bird in the cage, prisoner of myself. And one day it was enough, I felt in myself that I couldn't go on like this and it was enough, I reached the point of no return. I saw the time passing and I didn't want to lose more time and live with regrets. So I stopped working, took some holidays, stopped thinking about my life and started to look for advices, experiences of others people on how to do this transition. I found a lot of information, too much information (videos on YT, articles etc.) ! but nothing very helpful. Despite this, I took a lot of notes and I found some authors, coach, motivational speakers very Interesting like Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Lise Bourbeau, Russell Brand, etc. So I watched a lot of videos about their selves and their methods but I noticed that the real keys were not in the videos, but and the book, so I bought books*!.....and then the transition to my new life began. Before, reading was not a pleasure for me because I'm an hyperactive person, but I found the way to read everywhere and easier : Audiobooks* !! (I will put the links of the books that helped me a lot down below!). And I focused on these books, and they changed my life forever. Honestly, before I couldn't think that it was possible for me to change myself, but with right tips, the right methods, and a little bit of work on myself I became more confident, more powerful and better in my head and in my body. You can't change yourself in the best way and get impressive results if you're not comfortable with yourself. So after this work on myself, I planned my new life and what I wanted to do, to become. Then, I quit my jobs, changed country and started studies to get the job of my dream. What an adventure !... and it's just the beginning ! So that's a little part of my story to tell you that everything is possible, whatever the time that it takes, whatever your age, your situation, there are always many possibilities to change your life and live your dreams. Trust yourself, stay focus, and never give up. For sure it won't be easy, because if it will be easy, everyone could do it… but You're NOT everyone ! 17. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Just imagine having two friends. You like both of them, but you would only consider one of them for a romantic relationship. So it depends who's asking. I experienced 3 stories regarding this topic: 1. When i went to school, I got a group of friends, but I was closer to one of the female friends. Sometimes just the two of us met, we went on vacation together once and we told each other a lot of things. But to me we were just friends. One year our ususal New Year's Eve party was cancelled, so I went to another friend's party without her and she was very mad. So I think, she thought of us as a couple, she never told me and then she got hurt. 2. I was texting a woman, when I was looking for a girlfriend. She was nice, but her ex treated her so badly that she was affraid of a new relationship. So I was patient and spent a lot of time with her as a close friend. I helped her to overcome her fear and to build up self-esteem. Then she dated a new guy, they got into a relationship and I left because I loved her and I couldn't take it. And of course, he treated her badly and they broke up again. But I didn't spend any more time with her, because she hurt me so much by picking a random idiot over me. 3. When I was still looking for a girlfriend, I casually played an online game with some people. We became a crew of friends soon and played together for years. We even met each other in real life at crew weekends. One of them became my female best friend, because we played together every day and got to know us very well. Her boyfriend was part of the crew and he was a friend too, but over time he showed her less attention and treated her worse and worse. So they broke up one day. Since she was missing attention and she got it from me every day, we got even closer. We started joking about getting together when both of us wouldn't find a partner in a few years. We started flirting and one day we decided to meet and make out. It was very good, we both enjoyed it and we got together. I will marry her this summer. So I would say: Tell him/her how you feel. The longer you wait, the more it hurts. It can go good or bad, but you will have an answer and you can enjoy it or move on. Life is short. If flirting is funny and not weird, that's a good sign. And everyone loves to hear being accepted and loved with all the imperfections. When looking for a boyfriend/girlfriend, pick the one who truly cares about you and spends time with you.

  20. The first meditation course I took was at university, and it was a colossal disaster. I had read Jack Kerouac's "The Dharma Bums" and "On The Road" and, as it turned out, I was not ready to sit still and face the discomfort with equanimity. It should take another 20 years until I finally got into it. That's over eight years of meditation now, during which profound changes in my life and personality took place. I tried many other spiritual practices, and for me, the path is a mindful life and Vipassana meditation as the concrete daily practice.
