Moderator Popular Post Candy Posted May 2, 2019 Moderator Popular Post Posted May 2, 2019 At one point, I was the healthiest person I knew (or so I thought! haha). But what is "healthy" these days anyway? And how does the food you eat affect your mood and overall wellbeing? Is there a correlation? Can you share ideas of healthy meals / foods you eat? Photos are always welcome too
Members Berta Posted May 10, 2019 Members Posted May 10, 2019 This is so true - there's no 1 way fits all road to health but it's a personal and continuous exploration of what works for you in certain times of your life. I had to question everything I knew about my mind and body once the menopause started.
Members Ha**** Posted September 26, 2019 Members Posted September 26, 2019 What is healthy? I'd say any food that nourishes your body without increasing risk of ill-health. Junk food, high carbs / sugar etc. tends to cause sluggishness and can affect mood. Vegetables, salads, fish, chicken, some red meat, all good for the mood and the heart, and other organs.
