Thanks for sharing your story with all the others too.
Listening is nice and important, but the thing requiring the most courage is admitting to have a problem, to be weak and to need help.

So that's what earns most of my respect.

You can be the best listener in the world... If your friend didn't open up, there's been pretty much nothing you could have done about it.

P.S. As a non native english speaker, I have to ask: What does it mean, to lose nearly 5 stone?

Thanks for the story, I have a lot of stress myself, that's why it's helpful to read something like this.

Yea that's a hard core story.  I've seen many go this way with my brother being one of them.  Sadly it does not help when so many of us are taught to cut others out of our life when the going gets tough.  Rejection is a terrible and soul destroying thing.  This is why I advocate peace and acceptance above all as today's front line of happiness.  Those said services can help but in the end it is up to us.  Writing about it can help when not impeded by those who would cast our pain aside.  Well done on sharing as you have.  Being mindful in the here and now is what I find helps. All those ifs and buts tend to keep us down.  I suggest just focusing on what works for you and you continue to live on.  Do not let others tell you what you should say or how to think. Advice is well meaning but I have learned its far better to go with our hearts when we learn to be open to our own personal truth.

Your own advice shows how much you have grown having been able to express such pain yet worked on through it.  Thank you for sharing as today I will be sure to talk to my family keeping this in mind.

Great share. This has made me more mindful for the day.

You do what you feel helps you.  Sounds like your on the right track.

Regards ~ Dave.

To read about a philosophical perspective on education would be interesting. I'll get this book downloaded. Without a doubt, education is crucial to our lives. The most important thing is to go beyond all challenges along the way, from signing up for college to getting that desired graduation. I struggled to write a  residency personal statement editor and made the decision to hire specialists to complete the assignment because my chances of getting into the university of my dreams are on the line. Wish me luck, please.

It would someone has added two two lines at that end of what I previously said which I actually did not write nor beleive.  Is no more than an invitation which is why I choose to smile instead of get upset.

Whilst I may have a different opinion on society and the like, I don't change the words of others by adding words and then quote as if they wrote them when they did not.

That's a pretty sad act.

An education such as you describe will not help a person overcome such things.  You can be sure it will drive the very nature that leads them to resist and create conflict for themselves and all those around them.
Curriculum education leads to repeaters that get rewards based on how well they repeat.  Cheating leads to the same thing.

Jump through the hoops, then unlearn and then perhaps graduation will come.

I understand well such resistance that leads to such internal conflict that lead to this act the corrupting of my words

I'm used to people changing my words and or in this case manipulating them just to incite a negative reaction whilst validating themselves.

Instead this does more to show one's true colors but not all bad as in itself is a good learning experience after all.

Good luck with your education.
