Lightwork: How do you realize your calling and how do you contribute?

Hello ladies and gentlemen I am a lightworker I'm here to find and communicate with other lightworkers and people who are interested in making a difference this is the golden age and the time of the Great awakening for this  planet and we must all get together to help create a global awakening   of consciousness   let's share ideas and how we can all do our part on raising the global consciousness I'm debating on quitting a very well paying job to dedicate my life to this work and looking for people to help me let's share information let's share ideas   people must realize that there is no separation that we are all one we are everything everything we see is simply an illusion   we are all one we are all connected so let's make a difference in love and in light

On happiness.com, I come across "lightwork" quite a lot. We have an article in the magazine about lightworker, and I see the work rather often as part of peoples nicknames. So I have a theoretical understanding of what it might be. So to all the lightworkers out there: Please describe your work a bit. Let us see the world through your eyes and experiences? How do you help, show up, contribute? I am curious ?

I do find myself behave like an empath at times when faced with someone in a very distressed state and needs to act immediately to bring them around. It's a directness of the heart that allows me to link up with them, and most of time, no words were used; perhaps only using the "third eye"? It took many years of meditation practice to experience this directness. However, I don't associate myself as an empath, because I see "pain" or "suffering" as a delusion, rather than feeling that way; although I do get hit by the negative energy after those situations.

And for "lightworking", I find myself "radiating" which then "propels" me forward when I meditate while contemplating on the good deeds that I've done - like those mentioned above. Similarly I don't view it as lightworking, as I did not have the intention to be in such state. But somehow I felt both empath and lightworking are part of the package once we practice correctly, without being obscured by such intentions.

I have similar experiences. When I spontaneously pay attention to someone, it may feel like my mind is tuned into her or his mind. These feelings feel like true communication, without symbols like words or thoughts. What I feel depends on my own mental state. When I have been able to verify what I felt, the feelings most often turned out to be true.

My question is about finding a job in spiritual community.

I was wondering if you have any advice, tip or word of wisdom when it comes to taking a first step on this journey. My end goal would be to support people in their healing and self-discovery, but I'm ready to start from the beginning as this would be my first job in the field. I don't see myself as entrepreneur (yet?) so I am looking for people and organizations where I can contribute and learn.

Any personal advice, experience, recommendation of an organization, person, website, even a book that could help on a job quest would be amazing.

(For reference, but I'm hoping this discussion will be helpful for others in different situations too, I'm a 35 y/o school teacher in the midst of career change, recently moved to England, have no "spiritual super-powers", have a little bit of extra intuition and a lot of passion for becoming a Light worker!)

I have been wondering what I am exactly and “light worker” might be the term. I have had experiences include all of the different categories so I’m not sure what type of light worker that makes me…

 

Fellow light workers please assist the vision and understanding I have been given with focus, prayer and meditation: That ALL people everywhere suffering from addiction of any kind be healed from any affliction the addiction may be causing. Please ask that whatever is causing the source of the pain/problem use it’s energy for good, to help instead of harm. This would be different for every individual, God knows what the person needs so simply request that the energy do something that God finds righteous for that person individually. To help, visualize a ring of enormous momentum going around Saturn at immense speed. This momentum is fueled by decades of destruction and pain that drugs have caused. Think of all the ways drugs have been used by governments to control populations, the generational impact on families, the trauma users try to avoid feeling, the guilt and shame associated with the stigma, etc. Now imagine trying to jump in the middle of the ring with a prayer for 1 person to stop using, that’s NEVER going to work…the ring is too strong and praying for someone to stop would infringe on their free will so technically that prayer simply can’t be answers, perhaps that’s why it so rarely ever is…there isn’t a person alive that has struggled with addiction who hasn’t had at least 1 person pray that prayer for them…

Imagine now jumping into the ring and going with the flow, in the same direction. We aren’t adding or taking anything away, only asking that the force responsible for being able to inflict a certain amount of damage redirect it’s energy to help instead of harm-whatever that means for the individual. You need not be any more specific than that as the Universe and God take care of the specific details, always in each person’s best interest according to who they have been called to be. 
There is no way to fight a force this strong with endless drugs flowing in across our borders, people dying from unintended overdoses, but we can address this problem through faith, positivity, and a vision to end suffering. It’s at least worth a try people, they have yet to come up with a better solution or cure that could work for EVERYONE. The love felt to want one child healed as much as the next, your child as much as mine, etc-feel that kind of love, love for ALL of God’s children…. 
 

Now Let’s see what WE can do Lightworkers!!!

I. Am part of  app that tells angelic numbers but it keeps saying that my purpose on earth is that of a light worker and until I awaken and serve my life purpose I will continue to go through difficult time in 38 I was born 11/11/1983 at 9:45pm I have made every wrong choice in life but I have always listened to the voice inside which has allowed to uncover deceit without ever having a clue they were I have endured a lot I always saide I was born to hold the weight of the world so not to touch the ones I love just in the last year I woke up one day and said I need to find enlightenment, been on a quest to find my meaningy purpose in life I hope im in the right place if someone can help me please

Hi my name's celia I live in Michigan usa I am 38 Stay at home mom it 2 beautiful children 1 without autism. But I have noticed the last couple years I think I believe i'm going to a spiritual lake any I believe I possibly could be a light worker. I went through a lot Within the last five years my mother passed away my father moved out of state end I got back with my ex after fifteen years and didn't work bad break up In the lot of friends and family members Passing Plus I have emotional Childhood Trauma And abuse. I've always liked helping people then had I've always had a very Generous caring Heart Because of that i've gotten took an advantage of in hurt a lot Specially The last two years i've just had this need in this poll to help people more In I just feel have a sense Feeling of I'm something bigger Like it's hard to explain bear with me like there has to be more to life than this like i'm a fairy or the angel or something like that l o l but I started doing research and I came across light worker And makes a lot of sense law this symptoms all my life and recently dramatic experience means plus I had a suicide attempt a few years ago And I handed go to the I c u and the mental hospital for like a week I don't know if almost dying Awakened something inside me Maybe I've been teen shadows and things out of my prefer real vision I can feel When somebody don't like me or somebody's Angry or upset Like a quick example my best friend's Now ex-boyfriend at the time she was in her room and I was in the living room and I didn't hear the door open and he came inside the room and I had my back to him did not see him but I felt this pushing angry energy behind me Like that feeling of somebody watching you but it was pressure pushing rushing energy with angriness and I turned around and I was like wow okay I explained it because he does not like me at He knew I knew him for what in seeing him for what he was Narcissistic abuser An asshole I can you put my hands above crystals and above objects and I can feel the energy sad or mad or good I've been seeing numbers Repeating Double triple numbers of one's and twos Just when I glanced at the time when I look at a receipt like the other day I got a pop a little debbie and my balance was $333 Just stuff like that that mainly I just wanna know what I am an what do I do in how do What's my spiritual path Just what all I can do to enhance or help Myself and another people And venture out and explore and travel When I have more time And have the resources and money to. Hi all, I also got a "life insight" the hard way. Some time ago, when life simply felt meaningless, I more or less started to life my life without reflecting on it and without making expectations. This state of just being, gave me an inner realization that the only thing that matters is love. In a previous reply in this post I told that it sometimes feels like I tune into the feelings of others. These are still subtle feelings that I cannot prove, but these experiences became more tangible after my experiences of caring without reflecting or expecting. All the best!
