  1. Everyone is allowed to have bad days, and I'm sorry you don't really feel like you can 💚 It's so important to look after yourself and acknowledge a bad day for what it is. Know that it will pass and that you will feel better, and in the meantime prioritise yourself and your needs 🌻 I hope our community can be that safe space where you can express your feelings without judgement, and feel supported and heard 🌊
  2. Welcome to happiness and thank you so much for sharing 💫 I hope our community can be helpful on your self improvement journey and that you keep sharing any ups and downs. I'm sure lots of other members can relate and give great advice 😊 I found this article about kundalini meditation, maybe you'll find it interesting!

  4. I am not sure where we should turn or have a concrete solution to offer but I know one thing for sure: We can't turn away. We can't turn away from our own problems or the challenges in the world. They'll persist even if we look the other way. We need to open our eyes, minds and hearts to the pain, to the people suffering (including ourselves). Only if we see clearly can we look for concrete ways to ease the pain to solve the problems. We don't have to solve it all, we don't have to have all the answers and above all we don't have to do it alone, we can take a pause and then again pick a small manageable piece to work on. On step at a time, one deed at a time, one conversation at a time, one shared moment of silence of human connection at a time. Looking at my own path I draw on the power of community in many ways. The conversations here touch me and open my eyes to different aspects and ideas, I am also part of a Sangha - a meditation group where I can recharge and feel what is hard to feel among other people, where I experience acceptance and belonging. And this strengthens me to continue and expand my social engagements. @waihong This is only answering to a part of what you wrote as you touched on so many equally important points. Can you tell me more about the pure land? I am not sure if I understand it correctly.

  8. Happiness is an elusive bird, they say..the more one tries to capture her the farther away she flies. I have often found her in the least probable places; in the rays of the rising sun, in the purring of my pet, even in great food cooked with a lot of love & in finding this wonderful app & it's lovely community. What is Your idea of happiness? :)
  9. Hello! Thank you for joining and welcome to our little happiness community! Happiness.com is just in its infant stage, but I can already say that I find it good for very many things! There's a whole community of curious, kind and openhearted people willing to share their life experiences and lessons with others. People willing to help and serve, learn and experience, and welcome and support anyone in need of it. Unlike Facebook, we are a little conscious community for those interested in more "Real" topics related to life, love, loss, mindfulness, peace, dis-ease, etc. It can be whatever you’d like it to be :) All the best on your journey ?✨

  15. I'm sorry to hear you are feeling lonely, but perhaps you can find some comfort in the fact that this is something a lot of people are struggling with. COVID has definitely made it harder to meet new friends and socialize more freely too. Please know that our community is a safe and supportive place, where we encourage connections between people. ✨ Things WILL get better, and you are so much stronger than you think! 🌈

  18. I was there in the first 2 days and had a very good time. Seeing people's interest in happiness.com and getting to know many different people were so fulfilling. A session I attended was very interesting for me, NSR Self-Healing with Sebastian C.O. He showed Self Neuro Somatic Reprogramming techniques to reduce pain. I agree with Tine about the free stage. It was a great touch and was my favourite. Seeing people get carried away at one of the concerts was extremely heartwarming. I could feel the community connection there. Besides that, I also heard comments about the community bond from the people I talked to. It's very impressing that the event created such an international community! I'm newly becoming a "yoga person", meaning that I'm a total beginner both of yoga and it's culture. I've always had been into sports and attending tournaments and loved the rush of those environments. The yoga conference reminded me of those environments, but a more mindful version of them. I wasn't expecting to feel that the conference environment resonates with me this much.
