How wonderful it is to read your expression of self discovery, knowing that our time is limited in this physical form, and that by directing the focus of your attention inward towards the seat of your experience you may unfold the mysteries of what being alive truley is.....a gift....one that allows us to experience the causality of this universe...its an honor to connect with others who are actually open to having inclusive dialogue as we are all meshing in this web of relationship....as everything we think, feel, and do (or dont do) affects the web of existence. Right now we are in a crucial time, as you know, for every individual to become inclusive, balanced, and responsible for the life we have been given. We must remember our soverignty and take the necessary steps to become empowered as humans that know how to be, for all of life to flourish in all of its forms, as guardians for all of life to be able to move through the evolutionary process as it was intended... This is the real spiritual path, if there was a an actual path, it is to be a full fledged life that shines in all of its radiant solar powered glory just as the sun offers its rays freely for all in its reach so shall the spiritual being offer itself to all that are suffering...and right now the suffering on the planet is immense for most species...the question is how responsible do we want to be?   3. Okay so this is my first topic i am sharing here. Earlier i was not a believer of astrology at all. However , with my parents getting too much into astrology and remedies , it made me curious as to how the horoscopes can help you transform your life. They all talk about whats wrong and right but what about transformation but without the rituals and what about self healing ? I found out and experimented on my own life that pluto placement in your horoscope can tell you a lot about how you can bring that major transformation in your life. For example , if pluto is placed in 4th house of your chart , it means the transformation comes through home environment or mother. The zodiac sign tells about transformation coming in that form . Mine has been in 12th house and whenever i have been in isolation (by choice) , it has always brought a major transformation in my life. Being in libra zodiac sign , idea of transformation was reflected from and into my relationships and how i deal with people . Where is your pluto placement ? you can check from your dob on any app like astrosage .
  4. I'm new here, and so grateful to have found a positive, uplifting platform in this crazy time in the world!!! I'm from South Africa and am really excited to meet new friends globally! I am getting into mindset-coaching and have come quite a far way already, i should hopefully be starting my practise soon... My hobbies include, reading, self growth, universal learning, drawing, quantum physics. I LOVE learning through others as well as helping others with the profound knowledge i possess.   5. My name is Andy, I'm from Glasgow, ???????. I'm in recovery from opate addiction. Been better since March 2017. Well done me. I'm on a yogic journey along with my recovery. I came across this site by chance, if ther is such a thing. I think not. I wish too b talkin with other people that are on a spiritual journey of self awareness an self discovery. Namaste.
  6. The landmark forum seems to have a special formula to live a fulfilled life by clearing up the past and creating your own new future on a blank canvas. It's not about changing or fixing something, but about transformation. You get a guideline to have authentic communication that opens up new possibilities. People who stopped talking with each other or had issues with each other for years, started talking again. What is important in the process is to enroll people. That is the tricky part. Why you indeed can make some magic happen in a just 3 days workshop and would wish that everyone around you will also get this experience, you need to enroll people into this. This not only creates commitment, but it also shows the power that everyone self owns. I was never in my life forced that much to get into communication with my social groups. And once I did it, I realized that it opens up many more things. So, I finally felt happy to get into this space. I wondered if anyone else was doing the forum and had similar experiences, and what would be the best way in life to integrate it. I'm practicing yoga and meditation, what can become a quite lonely activity. So, I clearly see a need to get into communication to be completed and happy as we are human-beings living in social structures. I also see happiness.com potentially bridging here the gap. So, I saw here a perfect match in enrolling people and be in communication

  8. Keesha you are a brave girl. Why are you continuing this toxic relationship if you are so self aware. You have just one life, live it the way you want to.
  9. Dont be negative about yourself. You are a good soul and expecting good in your life that is not wrong. The person who left you, they don't deserve you. You have to be positive about your self and start living happily. When will you overcome from this situation. You will automatically get where you were wrong then improve that in your next relationship. So start overcoming from that situation and dont blame yourself for this.
  10. Rosa, I have also been suffering from depression, so I completely understand how debilitating and lonely it can be. One of the things that keeps us in depression is the constant negative dialogue in our heads - it’s not easy to start feeling better when that voice in our heads keeps reminding us that we are failures or unworthy; that constant rumination tends to focus our attention on reliving hurt or regret from the past - or worrying and fearful about the future; it’s a bit like having your mind hijacked by an incessant, negative voice intent on keeping you locked in a depressed state. Recently, I learned about ‘mindfulness’ and it is making a huge difference for me. Here, on the Happiness.com website, there is a free 8 week, online course you can do called MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction), which teaches you how to quieten that negative self talk. MBSR has been extensively studied by neuroscientists and it has been shown to have a physical impact on our brain’s neural pathways - helping to alleviate both depression and anxiety. When I first started, I was horrified at the thoughts that ran rampant in my mind. It is helping me to be more present in the ‘now’, while changing that dialogue into one of love and self compassion - for me, just becoming aware of the pattern of thinking and being able to now interrupt it, is a victory! At the top of the screen, you will see a tab called ‘Academy’, click on that and choose the option MBSR. I would also suggest getting the book ‘Full Catastrophe Living’ by Jon Cabot Zinn. He actually developed the MBSR program and the book is required reading as a part of the course. best of luck darling!
  11. I have been depressed for the past two and a half years. During much of that time, I spent in self imposed isolation - feeling disconnected from life and friends, tortured with feelings of deep hopelessness and shame. Fortunately, the depression has finally started to lift through a combination of therapy, rTMS (through a clinical study), and a very recent introduction into the benefits of mindfulness and self compassion. This past month, I started reaching out again: first to strangers on the street / the girl bagging my groceries / neighbours, and now, reaching out again to friends who I haven’t seen or spoken to for much of the past 3 years. Don’t let work, your mobile phone, social media, mindless tv or, internet surfing, take the place of friendships and connectedness. Depression is an insidious disease and it can creep into your life without you being fully aware: isolation and loneliness provides fertile ground for depressive thoughts to feed on. One mindful intention at a time, one moment at a time....

  15. I am sorry to hear your story. Loss is hard and soul-crushing. It sounds like she doesn't want to get contacted. So maybe the way to show your love is to respect her wish and grant the space she asks for. You can use this time for self-reflection and practising patience because the only time we can practice patience is when we are impatient. Patience - with myself and others - is a skill I constantly need to work on.

  17. I have been struggling since the age of 14. I have had a professional life but tended to self sabotage - nearly losing my life a few years ago. I am still on the path and have found that routine helps...I have a dog and having to get up and walk him in the local parks really helps...being in nature and chatting to people during my walks. It is not easy...but I am plugging away and find my mood lifts when I focus on the nature around me and the joy of my puppy running and playing. Reading self help books is a way - I have read hundreds...but you must put the practice in to help your subconscious develop new ways of being. John Moyer - on YouTube has some great meditations that you can listen to and work with by day or night. I hope this helps a little. x

  20. @Dcharles1 You will get a certificate at the end of the MBSR course in the academy when you have finished it successfully, when you have already enrolled. We are changing the structure of the course at the moment. A wonderful self-paced course is available here and the teacher led online course with live sessions will start on happiness.com on the 1st of September 2021.

When creating a new identity it's super important to have likeminded people, content and support around. So I am looking forward to explore this community better and hopefully get to know some nice people over here A little about me - I am currently based in Spain, near Barcelona. I am a nature lover (sea and mountains please!) who likes to hike and explore new places. I am into art, self-development, learning, journaling and sometimes cooking (when in a happy mood haha). I also have discovered yoga as both meditative and active practice for myself. Random fact - cats and flowers is my quick way to boost my happiness! What about you?   24. Dear Emma, in lak ech! This feeling is a chance. This chance is a door opener to your true self. Connect with your heart and find out what you really feel good with, do things that provide you with energy. Fill the empty cup with yourself, your true self. You will remember it through your heart. It might takes some time to figure out what you really connect with, what your heart really tells you. The ego is just a reaction to your identity, the story you are telling yourself. In this moment you can celebrate because something tells you you are not your story, not your identity and you can create and be who you really are. The universe wants to be remembered through you, the beauty. Remember. Remember yourself. Honor yourself in this calibration that leads you towards your awakened inside. Since we lost our roots in nature, traditions, yearly cylces and ceremonies we are looking for exactly that. Maybe you find yourself in any of that, digging in ancestors lives, ideas, nature, your real mission, in foreign philosophy like yoga, shamanism etc. It is a exciting way to rediscover - not the most pleasant always.   25. Hi Emma, yes, I have. Some days I would wake up and not know how I got to where I am, wondering why I'm here and what the purpose of it all is. What helped for me is reading a lot of books about non-duality and the tricks the mind and ego plays on us. Yoga also helped me so much to connect with my body, my mind and my soul (I'd like to think). For years, without realising, I lived every day not knowing who I am or how to be. Especially because I thought I was supposed to be a certain way for my partner to love me, completely ignoring all the warning signals going off around me. It was hard. It's still hard, but there's a way out. I find something to be grateful for every day. I practice self-care and self-love as often as I can. I often write Morning Pages (journaling without thinking about it and just letting your feelings and thoughts flow out through the pen onto the paper). I repeat positive affirmations until I notice the shift in my negative thinking/energy. I try very hard not to beat myself up, and I listen to the most beautiful music on youtube every day which REALLY calms me and puts my mind at peace.
