  1. There are a few moments in life, which change everything. Some hurt and strengthen us at the same time. Some influence our decisions and make us overthink our opinion. And some give us hope after a phase of hopelessness. Feel free to share your key moments with the community. When I was younger, our teacher in school was asking for our future plans/wishes. I wanted to earn a lot of money and live in luxury, because why not? I wanted a very successful career, just like my dad's or an even more successful one. A few years later my father barely survived a heart attack caused by stress and I reconsidered my plan. I still became an engineer, but I don't try to earn tons of money at all costs, because money is worthless if you dont have the time to spend it. And it is worthless if you have to trade it for family time. So maybe I will be more successful than my dad - not financially, but in terms of happiness.
  2. I deal with stree after does meditation to keep himself calm and avoid unwanted conversation and make friendly environment. I don't take tension and live cool live. Society is full of different type of people when you just need to perform rightly to reduce stress.
  3. Deep breathing, going to the gym, or going for a long drive usually work best. For me stress relief is less about forgetting or "taking your mind off of" what is stressing you out but rather coming up with ways to fix the issue.
  4. Faster music can make you feel more alert and concentrate better. Upbeat music can make you feel more optimistic and positive about life. A slower tempo can quiet your mind and relax your muscles, making you feel soothed while releasing the stress of the day
  5. @Felicidad It is a Mindfulness/Meditation Based Stress Reduction course that's currently offered in our Academy free of charge. It's a wonderful course that helps people who struggle with stress and other difficulties, and very good for beginners or advanced meditation practitioners. Find out more here, if you're interested ?
  6. hi .it's very sad to hear you feel lonely you have to me friends to stay away from it you should be live a life of stress free don't think you are alone everyone is with you.. .
  7. Depends on my mood. Sometimes I love to put on some great house music and dance in my living room. Really helps to reduce my stress and boost energy!
  8. Music Is the food for the soul ...music releases stress and also heals the heart that's my little experience
  9. I have a lot of problems sleeping lately. That is stress-related and has to be worked out through cognitive-behavioral analysis I suppose.
  10. For me it was really a hard time. Internally I have always rejected propaganda and man-made activities, so I got myself into a really huge stress.
  11. I am here to be of service. The world right now can be frightening and cold. In the last 5 years I've lost multiple friends/co-workers to depression and in those instances I felt I could have done more. Well, there's no time like the present. I started my YouTube channel to help anyone who is dealing with anxiety or stress and also those who are looking to get into mediation, need help getting to sleep, and general relaxation. My videos aren't complex. At all. That's purposefully done because I am a minimalist and I believe the best way to clear the mind is simple sounds and simple images that calm the nerves and senses. The videos have helped my as I venture back into my meditation practices and I hope they provide the same use for others. I am very happy to offer, what I feel is, a very small contribution to the universe that can potentially restore, change or even save lives.
  12. Totally! Stress builds up in our neck, shoulders etc, so that's why people go to have a massage. To relieve it. The power of touch is also very relaxing
  13. I've never had a professional one, but if you focus on the massage, you can let go the stress.
  14. Do you see your sisters as competitors, or why do you stress yourself? If you are looking for alone time and space, you could go outside, enjoy the weather, visit a lake or what ever relaxes you. Maybe some friends from your school would like to join you, if you ask them.
  15. I struggle with finding my happiness because I stress myself a lot. I have a mess ton of siblings and not much alone time so it’s very nice to have someone like a friend to connect with. I hope we become great friends.
  16. The modern lifestyle forced me to look for relaxation in everything. For example, I recently tried cbd oils. THC and CBD are two compounds that exhibit different effects depending on how they are exposed. In short, full spectrum cbd oil is the main psychoactive component contained in cannabis, which causes hallucinations, dizziness, drowsiness and is great for stress relief.
  17. I disagree... AND I agree ? Short term stress is energizing and even healthy as it gets the organism going. The problem is when, after a stressful phase, there is no matching recovery phase. Chronic stress is dangerous. As so often drilling deeper, we get a more nuanced picture.
  18. 34 "You experience regular stress sometimes maybe even to an unhealthy degree." This was not always the case at my job. I love what I do and that played a big factor in my stress factor. However, with new management and the pandemic this has changed a lot of things. Now I feel like I am feeling stressed out on a regular basis. I have had to figure out how to not bring it home and let it rule my life outside of my work hours.
  19. So true, Physical and mental health both are most important for healthy and happy life. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. You should take care of it. If you want to improve your mental health you should go for life coaching. Last year when i was in depression and this is the main reason of my mental health someone suggest me for life coaching to feel free from depression and improve mental health as well. Life coach helps you to feel free from depression and improve 1 your mental stability. He should deal with your mental health and improve this.
  20. I'm sorry to hear you're struggling, it's been a difficult time for everyone these past couple of years, and adding the stress of not having a job to that must be challenging. I don't know your situation, but perhaps try and ask yourself what seems to be blocking you from finding a job. Thinking about what you would need for that to happen, and what you can see yourself working with might be helpful too. Sending you lots of positive energy and wish you a lovely week! 🌈
  21. I would recommend scented candles. Scents like vanilla and lavender have a very calming effect. You can light a candle for an hour every day and think only about positive things, it will help you a lot and the smell of the candle will relax you even more. I have been lighting a candle in the evening after a warm bath for a year now, and that helps me a lot to get rid of stress.

  23. Use guided meditation. Guided meditation is a great way to distract yourself from the stress of day-to-day life. Practice deep breathing. Maintain physical exercise and good nutrition. Manage social media time. Connect with others
