  1. Dear Community, Hello, I am Sorai, a soul of the sky who came to Earth to experience, and share in new ways. I value love, peace, happiness, exploration to name a few. Love to talk with friends and would like to make new friends around the world for 1 to 1 chat as well as here on the forum. I like to talk about interesting things mixed with philosophy/spirituality, such as self-cultivation and happiness cultivation. I practice Shen Shing Famen Qigong, Zen Meditation, Aikido, and Taekwondo. Some questions to spark our discussion are: • You can do anything at all in existence; what do you do? • What do you like to watch, listen to, read, or do for hobbies • You take a walk or ride anywhere, whether normally accessible to humans or not. Where do you go? I would walk the sky and make love. Also walk the depths of the ocean and the oldest and most lush forests. Maybe try a walk in the desert I like Shark Tank and am re-reading Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
  2. For years I was challenged by depression and anxiety to a point of being unable to function in the world. At my lowest point, I was overwhelmed by the fear and worry and darkness of the world I was experiencing, things became unbearable and life to me at that time seemed unliveable. I had searched for any kind of comfort from the pain for many many years to no avail! An old friend of mine had sent me a link to a YouTube video of a guided meditation by Jason Stephenson (check him out if you haven’t heard of him, he is awesome) I listened to the 7 minute guided meditation with an almost closed mind, thinking (as I had for most of my life) that nothing would work for me. I have been involved with many therapies, I had been diagnosed with BPD and Bipolar, I have been prescribed so many different medications over the years that didn’t help me at all, I just didn’t respond to any of it (I understand that sometimes medication IS necessary, and it does work for people who do respond to it) I had nothing left, I felt lost and hopeless! I listened to the guided meditation, I allowed myself to just go with it. There were a few brief moments during that meditation when the heaviness I had been struggling became slightly lighter, allowing me to take a breath and sigh. I was relieved of the dark weight for maybe 2 minutes during the meditation, that 2 minutes gave me the freedom I had been seeking for most of my life. this was 2 years ago, and since then I have meditated daily (often multiple times) I now only have brief moment of the darkness that I used to live with daily. Most of my life now is filled with positivity, the meditation allowed me to create space for myself, to love myself, to enjoy life. The dance of life now is a two way thing. I can flow with life, I am able to grow both professionally and spiritually, my relationships are better, my ambition and drive are now a big part of me and, most of all, I am accepting of all that life is....that 7 minute meditation changed my life in such a profound way. I find my peace and solace in meditation, but because of meditation, there is also peace and solace wherever I am, whatever I do, in all the spaces in between. Meditation is free, it’s relatively easy to do, you don’t need any equipment, you can do it anywhere, make it as quick or as long as you like, it can be fun, it’s interesting, it’s a wonderful way to become alright with life, in fact, life will become your friend. Just like beauty can be found in negative spaces, peace can be found in chaos.
  3. Being in Love. The whole world is magical, joy love and peace spring up from deep inside the earth and inside me, life is like the sky
  4. The inner peace is the piece that has always been missing, people have tried numerous ways to find it, but only some seemed to have found it. Allow....please allow me to make it easier for you.
  5. It's been all my life I'm one who is friends with the town the good bad n ugly our peace officers and the ones who aren't but opposite I have always been the good guy the one to talk to when your down and so I get some shady characters I use to be in the bar night . And by the chance I dot like you them you've done something pretty damn bad most likely should and lied to me I can't stand neither they both go hand n hand ass bags
  6. I’ve been meditating off and on for a couple weeks but for the past week I’ve been doing 20 minutes regularly every morning and evening. The benefits are almost unreal to me. I mentioned this in a previous post but I’ve always been a hardcore skeptic, and meditation does sometimes have some “new-age” baggage attached to it. But after practicing it for a little while I honestly feel so content and at peace, I feel like I have superpowers. I was so depressed and anxious and now I feel like nothing can faze me. I feel physically more relaxed and I’m not carrying as much tension as I used to. I’ve never understood religion or spirituality but I imagine this is how born-again Christians must feel. I understand why some people gravitate so much toward the spiritual side of it, and I feel like I don’t have as much anger towards religion as I used to. I’m fully aware I could be experiencing a “honeymoon phase” but I’m truly hopeful and I feel like meditation may be changing my life.
  7. How can we measure the connection between dreams and success? Most of us are continually dreaming about some type of success in life. It can be a dream not related to material wealth, but to inner peace, gratitude, and being kind when ideas contradict ours. When people say: "you are a dreamer" what it mean? I would interpret it as a positive or negative statement?
  8. Hi all...I am new to everything going on in my life right now...but I am experiencing something that I believe is an awakening. I know in my heart there is purpose for my new thoughts, visions, feelings etc. But I have no idea how to go about it all. It is overwhel.ing. my husband's battling some very bad "things" and needs help, and I am now experiencing what he is, but not in the same way. I do not fear it, as much as they try...I am driven to figure out how to banish it to save my family that is falling apart. I feel that time is of the essence. Pictures turn to movies and I am drawn to certain people and places that look different to me...I feel that it is bigger than I thought and that there is an unresolved situation that I am to figure out and bring peace and justice for. Wherever I am lights shine noticeably brighter...I asked God gorguidance and I know he is here with me. Nothing is of coincidence anymore, but as things become clearer they become more complicated if that makes sense. I physically feel drained, foggy, nauseated and in immense pain, but I keep going. I have to. I need some insight and help...if anyone could take the time because I am alone during this journey and trying to make sense of this feeling that my child and husband are in danger and much more...
  9. They locked you down, then they offer you a minimum income for your survival, finally they would insist that you get a jab on the vaccine. Meat farms have animals kept in cage, feed them enough to grow, and jabbed them with vaccine to ensure their survival till the end. Sounds the same? Ya, sadly. And eventually both get slaughtered. But they'll start with your kids. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/dc-politics/dc-vaccine-minors/2020/10/20/7378801e-12e4-11eb-ba42-ec6a580836ed_story.html taking a pause here... God see things from the heaven, I see things from the ground. But we both draw the line, and probably the same line. I'm not trying to play God, but the politicians and Climate folks are when they think they are in control. The US election shows us how our freedom can be stolen from us. It shows us how that few people, with that power of convenience, can exercise their own discretion of what they think is right over the voice of the people. Be it the judges, the politician, the press and even the social media. The "great reset" would be the further extension of all the above. It's literally Communism 2.0 to speak of. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/06/now-is-the-time-for-a-great-reset/ BLM?? No, ALL lives matter! But now, choosing side matter! So which side of the line do you stand? To be quite is to promote them to continue their ill-doings. Peace is not for the coward nor the inaction. "We the People" need to work hard towards humanity. Freedom is not free, without cost. May the World have peace, not that to become amalgamated, but to have the respect for others and to allow for "Agree to disagree". The future is in our hands.
  10. You're very welcome and I apologize for the rant lol I honestly understand where you're coming from. I've been the person people liked to "unload" on. Don't feel too obligated that you unable to protect your own peace. Remind yourself it's ok to be selfish and put yourself first if necessary. Those who truly appreciate you will respect your time, space, and energy🙂
  11. I'm a Nicheren Buddhist. I help people heal and find peace, based on Buddhist principles. I sometimes get very drained. Emotionally exhausted. How can I lift myself from this state?
  12. To heal from one situations and another is to deeply realize ourselves only with these words , i am sorry for all i have done to every person we need to say it.Although it wont solve everything, but at least it will grow the peace in our heart
  13. Namaste, For along time I lived a life of what I call as The Ego Trip and felt Money is the key to happiness and earning more by working hard will automatically deliver what I wanted from Life. And after 30 years I realized how wrong I was. That in this long journey on the way I created for myself not just wealth and fame but also negative energy that hounded me whenever I was down and out. Eventually, I found the key to happiness and that is living a Neutral Life without focusing on positive or negative thoughts and actions and instead leading the mind to neutrality and silence. This did not mean I had to let go off the mind or stop thinking logically and rationally. But only that let go off all negative thoughts and focus on positive actions. And if there one cannot be positive in thought of action, atleast be neutral. After couple of years of living the Neutral life, I realized the meaning and the value of happiness and since then I have been gaining more knowledge and sharing it others. If you want to learn this technique that helped me change my own life for the better, feel free to get in touch. Love and Peace be with all ❤️
  14. I was a bit curious to discover more as you say living a neutral life means ´without focusing on positive or negative thoughts' but then a few lines down say 'But only that let go off all negative thoughts and focus on positive actions.' So, I wonder what pure neutral living means – not focusing on either negative OR positive? Perhaps by either not focusing on negative or even positive thoughts, part of what you're advocating is the calm and peace the silence of 'not thinking' bring to the mind? I certainly see that as one of the clear benefits of living a neutal life and something I try to practise. Sure, it's nice to revel in the moments of joy, but not 'chase' them so much. It seems similar to the Buddhist principle of equanimity where your mind stays calm and peaceful, even when you are facing challenging situations/discussions. Would love to know more about the techniques you suggest!
  15. There are different ways to achieve balance and peace of mind. I already said in one of the topics that the financial side concerned me first of all. I have children and I began to actively explore opportunities for crypto currency. I have never been an expert in this area, but the lockdown gave me time to understand that this path is quite real.
  16. People have changed, no one cares, no one cares, it is hard to survive in this world.Everyone wants to be happy, what is happiness and word of mouth,The person holding the hand will also see how much money you have in your pocket😁There is nothing to do. Mother of peace is dead.
  17. I am a beginner and have started meditation and the search for inner peace, balance and happiness a little more than a month ago. I am hoping to find in this forum knowledge from people who have more experience in this subject than me and to share and better understand the forms I am using now. I have been using youtube as I have found many videos there, but that is also the problem, there are to many different ones. I am thinking of purchasing meditation music, but would like would like some insight from someone who knows this better before I continue. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated. Recommendations or links to better resources than youtube would help a lot. Thank you and have a blessed day.
  18. _*Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:13).*_ When you read about the armour of God in Ephesians 6, you’ll discover that the description of what we’re supposed to put on reveals how the enemy fights. We can decipher, from our own defensive paraphernalia what weapons the enemy uses: _*“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation…”*_ (Ephesians 6:14-17). Notice what it says about faith: with it, you can quench all of Satan’s fiery darts. That tells us what kind of material his missiles are. His missiles all have to do with making you accept something or believe something against God. These may be fiery darts of discouragement, depression, fear, failure or sickness; all aimed at making you take a stand against God’s Word. But the Bible says, _*“…taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”*_ (Ephesians 6:16). With your faith, you can put out, not some, but all of the fiery missiles of the wicked one. Your faith is your shield. Take up your faith! Don’t give it up. Someone said, “I was actually acting in faith, but things went wrong and I gave up.” No! Don’t drop your faith; the missiles directed at you from demonic forces can only be neutralized by faith. The Bible says _*“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”*_ (Romans 10:17). The more of God’s Word that comes into your spirit, the more faith you get. And the more you use your faith, the more it’s strengthened; and when the devil throws his missiles, you’ll be unmoved because they’ll be disintegrated by your shield of faith. *CONFESSION* *My faith is a weapon of defense and an instrument of victory over and against the adversary and adversities. With it, I put out all the fiery missiles of the wicked one. The Word of God has taken full possession of my spirit, soul and body. I’m eternally triumphant in Christ because my faith is the victory that overcomes the world!* *FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *1 John 5:4* For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. *||* *||* *1 Corinthians 16:13* Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. *||* *||* *Romans 4:19-20* And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; *||* *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan=>* Matthew 10:24-42 & Genesis 34-35 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan=>* Acts 9:10-20 & Esther 9-10.

  20. Life is something different what we all are living in today's date is just a materialistic living style n humour part is that whatever we are trying to collect in our entire life we are unable to take it with us then the question is y v all r still following the same why? You all know due to our foolishness of keep gathering things we are destroying this beautiful earth on a very high pace of speed with total loss of peace into pieces n seriously if things were going like this then there will be no future for our future one's.
  21. What I would say is give yourself time to find yourself, while at it do something that describes you it helps you find your inner peace. Look for a quiet place or that one person who you can talk to regardless of anything and work on how to control your emotions around people. It's a bad day not a bad life
  22. :) How do you think we can achieve that peace? What tools do you use? Love to hear your thoughts..
  23. Happiness means having peace from within..
  24. happiness means a meaningful strong pool of joy, wonder and peace that's in our hearts which reflect on our faces, walk, conversation and even in our work ... its very hard to explain but its explanation is the expression.
