  1. Thanks for asking Candy. To understand soul communication require one to first accept the existence of the soul. One may accept the soul as a spiritual entity or as I do as a quantum particle as I am more logical and rational in my thoughts. Once one accepts the existence of the soul, one has to connect with the soul. According to me the soul exists as a quantum particle in the quantum universe. And though the soul creates a unique individual conscious existence in the form of a human or living entity, it is not singular but rather unitary or one for all and thus we are all connected in the quantum universe. This is basic theory that I understand. Now the physical body is a creation of the soul to experience consciousness and thus forms an electromagnetic spectrum around the body which is connects the mind to the soul. While the body exists in the physical dimension, the soul exists in the quantum dimension connected by the EM of the physical dimension. The consciousness of the soul is not the same as the subconsciousness of the mind. The mind exists because of the brain and the physical body. The mind stops when the body stops or ceases to exist. Yet our body our thoughts and actions are dependent on the mind and this becomes a prison for the consciousness of the soul which is unable to express itself to the mind. The mind being forever trapped in the learning of the body and the brain. The mind stops listening to the murmurs of the conscious soul as we grow older. A baby or a child has a better connection between the two than grown ups. Unless ofcourse we learn to silence our mind and allow it connect to the conscious soul and its vibrations. Which is like intuition or inner voice as we say commonly. The more one learns to silence our mind the more connected we get to our soul and thus we lead on a path of spiritual awakening as the soul always speaks the truth and offers unlimited knowledge and power. But the soul can only connect with the subconscious mind of the physical body it has created as it is not reached the spiritual levels or state of vibration that can allow it to communicate with other souls. Intense focused meditation such as the one I practice enable the soul to receive energy from the supreme energy source (which some of us call as God) raising the souls vibration to higher level and thus enable it to communicate with the souls of other physical entities. And what is in one persons mind can be transmitted to another person through soul communication transparently something like telepathy (which is a wrong term as it involves mind to mind communication) I simply call it soul communication. When one soul communicates to another soul what the mind senses to the other, there is no manipulation as the subconscious mind does and no negative thoughts or energy pass through unless one is practicing something that is focused on negative energies. So I practice neutral energy meditation which cannot attract or generate negativity to self or others and thus all soul communication is neutral or positive in state. So summarizing, the following steps are to be learned and practiced for engaging in soul to soul communication. 1. Living a neutral lifestyle 2. Silencing the mind 3. Practicing focused meditation (focusing on the person you want to communicate) 4. Attracting energy for the soul from the supreme source and raising its vibrations for communicating your state of mind to the person you are focusing on. All of this requires dedication and selfless practice that take months if not years to achieve. But someone who has been practicing for years such as myself, I am able to offer to be a medium for others to engage in soul communication with the ones they seek. I first tried this method with my wife with whom my relationship was breaking down to the point of no return. Since then, we have stopped arguing and communicating more at the soul level thus keeping the balance in our thoughts towards one another. More recently, I tried soul communication with a third unconnected person I never met or spoke with for a person who asked for my assistance in offering to connect her soul with the third person. ?
  2. This is exactly right - experimenting and listening to your body. I sometimes use a cushion, and for me, a meditation bend works really well too and changing thing around. For me, no setup will be right every day. Each day is a new exploration.
  3. Hello everyone, I’ve just begun this course and one of the things I hope to be more comfortable with is aversion to being given instructions! For that reason I don’t enjoy guided meditations or body scans much and prefer to do my own, but I will challenge myself with some of the resources for which I’m grateful are available. in the meantime, my experience of body scans are like each part of the body receiving a surge of energy as I take my attention there. I can stay awake when I do my own, but have trouble staying awake when listening to someone else. I guess it’s because I’ve given myself permission to be quite and relax, so I really do ive just watched many of the videos and am going to try the practice of saying good morning to myself each morning. It seems like a much better thing to Lae in the mind and heart than waking u thinking of how i didn’t sleep well or what I need to do. I will get back to you all on how it goes. thank you very much for this space :j
  4. So I've noticed I listen better. I listen to understand the person rather than find what I'm going to say next. I still use old habits of not completely listening sometimes. But then I catch myself and just direct my mind to hear the person. Much like I focus on the breath when my mind wanders in meditations. So this week taught me valuable skills.
  5. Greeting everyone. I am a newbie to the site and hoping to take away some new ideas for coping with my depression/anxiety which unfortunately seem to hand in hand. I am currently enrolled in the free MBSR course here and still trying to learn my way around. I have suffered with depression and anxiety for years but I have experienced a couple of rough years which has put me into a deep depression. I didn't deal with my issues for years and with all that has occurred in the last while everything I repressed for so many years has coming flooding back and I am now trying to learn how to cope. The ruminating thoughts are awful and seem like an endless negative feedback loop. I am hopeful between this site, the course here, my CBT therapist and sheer will I am going to come out on the other side better. I have never been one to talk about my issues with others and I am quickly learning that is probably one of the best things to do. I have been ashamed for so many years of my illness. I am learning slowly that I am not alone in my illness and I hope between all I am doing here and with therapy I will improve mentally. Thanks for listening
  6. Hi, I started this a few days ago . I am extremely exited and looking forward to this course. I have done the body scan but can’t tell a difference but I guess it’s to soon to see an change also I fall asleep while listening does it still work , and finally for the first week do I just concentrate on the body scan or all the other topics mentioned in week 1 i.e mindfulness/ mindful eating ? Thank you for this support ?
  7. Sorry; I saw 49 under you pic and assumed it was your age lol - classic newbie mistake. So it was your wife's idea for you to move in and she isn't there anymore? I would. encourage you to really think about what it is about being around your Mum that changes your behaviour negatively. I suspect that you are internalising some of the negativity around you and this is contributing to your shutting down/off. If you feel that you are taking on extra emotional stuff that can also impact on your other relationships making you feel more tired, frustrated, irritable etc. Your first reaction when you thought about moving in with her was a gut reaction of negativity - I trust this is based on previous experience and is worth listening to. I don't think you can do much about the silly arguments - besides say they could be a natural part of living closely. Maybe you and your son can get out of the house more before bickering starts. There is an exit strategy for everyone - but you may have to reach out to agencies that can put you in the direction of financial etc support. If you are going to accept your Mum's help; I think you are also choosing to accept any difficulties that come alongside. In which case; time outs, mindfulness practices, meditation etc may help with getting some headspace and balancing good and bad. Buddhism as a practice has plenty to say about being compassionate to those with faults in their characters (don't we all). It encourages people to give gratitude and compassion even if we are feeling negative things ourselves - a 'fake it till you make it strategy'. Also; have you ever sat your Mum down and asked her how she finds living with you? Could be a way to understand her better or correct anything which is negative.
  8. What a great site! I live in my own little world listening to motivational tracks and trying to be positive, searching for inspirational people and then along comes this site... happy to have found you ?
  9. So I completed day two today and had a mixture of emotions. First of all I felt deeply relaxed and found the voice very relaxing, which half way through turned into an unpleasant emotion which did pass over time. I realise that I don't think I was listening to the words much and I think the emotion came from the fact that I wanted to daydream and the voice was bringing me back. Very interesting.
  10. I am listening to Gabby Bernstein's 'Super Attractor' book and it is giving me some points to consider. Firstly, be as happy as you can be. I try and see the positive in everything and everyone ?
  11. In my case the friendships which ended consciously where not real friendships before. In one case a friend whom I did hold dear one day spend the whole evening ranting about how every single thing I do in life is bad. I sat through the whole rant being puzzled that it didn't even com eto fight, just her ranting and me listening. I wen home and never contacted her again. She didn't either. So that was that. It still makes me sad thinking about it, but on the other hand I was always the one calling her to start with so I could have seen it coming but due to the work hours and schedule my free time was so unprecictable that I was used to be the one reaching out when I was available.
  12. For the first time practicing body scan I didn’t fall asleep. My mind wanders a lot and I need to keep refocusing. I am starting to enjoy more focusing on one thing at a time, giving it my undivided attention. This is true specially when having a conversation with someone. Just truly listening without thinking about what I want to say or what I think I should be doing . Its appreciation to the fullest of the moment and the person.
  13. week 2 sitting meditations, experiences, quite a good one for me, as i always sit outside in the sunshine, when i can, and sungaze, communing with nature, listening to the birds wind in the trees, and letting the sunlight, and breeze merge with me, filling me with light and energy, cleansing my energies, it is while i sit in the sunlight, meditating, that, i get important activations, downloads and visions, through the suns rays, and solar spots, often seeing images. my only problem with this meditation, is fidgeting, alot due to insects, and itches, smiles,
  14. Been listening to Abraham for a couple of years now, absolutely love them!
  15. I have been there in the past Emma. I found that just relaxing & trying to find things u enjoy doing. For me it was listening to music, watching YouTube videos (funny cats & Positive.) Also journalling is a great way to discover how ur feeling & where u should go from here. Simply writing down the thoughts that come to mind can go a long way to healing & moving forward. Write what u would love to do if u could feel better or even anything that would help in this moment. Its all about taking each moment & each day as it comes.
  16. As part of the recommendation for the MBSR online course, I completed the 33 minutes Body Scan video. I noticed I felt more relaxed and a deeper sense of space pressed gently on my heart as the meditation approached 20 minutes. I checked the time because I had to refocus on listening. I am aware of awareness as each body part is called out and connected. Simple yet beautiful.
  17. Hey Maggie, yes, I feel your words also. Had many doctors dismiss symptoms over the years that made me feel they were not listening or just wanted to push pills. Now whenever I see a doc and get dismissed I say that I've been living with my body for over 40 years, so I think I know it pretty well. LOL. Glad you are feeling better x
  18. I agree self care is so important daily, its hard sometimes I feel guilty with a never ending to do list . But I find slowing down is helping me feel so much better about myself. There is no rush to get chores done they will always be there. I find breaking up my day. Working in small chunks so helpful. Then I will relax with a good book, a puzzle , gardening, or going for a bike ride in nature, listening to uplifting music. Helps me recharge Instead of adding to your to do list, journal about all the things you've accomplished . Will make you see progress you've made and make you feel like your day has purpose and that you have achieved something no matter how low you are.
  19. ?? That's amazing! I see so many people posting their struggles with anxiety, depression and other mental related illnesses on social media every day, but the minute you mention a lifestyle change they stop listening. Well done on your achievement! How proud you must be!
  20. It's good to have likeminded friends around, but to be honest I am alone aswell, it's hard to find...specially when you are a new immigrant! But meanwhile if you want to learn something I strongly recomend listening to Kryon (lee Carroll) speeches. They are wonderful and exceptionally relaxing....peace and love for everyone???
  21. I journal daily I like to use the word focused meditation because I like to listen to podcasts and consider my writing channeling or going with the spiritual flow of thought streams that pop into my head as I'm listening to what I'm hearing.
  22. Hi Joyce, you're perfect like you are. Listening to your kids and leading by example by doing yoga is already the best what you can do. A loving and supporting relationship can be healing. I can imagine that you don't want to see your kids suffering. But if they see that you're fine and stable it will help them too overcome this difficult situation.❤
  23. Hello Alison, I'm new here too, from Scotland, where are you from? I also like reading, yoga and meditation, also listening to music, and I like meeting new people and sharing thoughts.
