Newbie looking for ideas...

Major health problems has forced major lifestyle changes and with it my story has changed--went from doing 10Ks, rock climbing, hiking, volunteering and working in community garden to becoming a quadriplegic in a motorized chair seemingly overnight. I had a 'premonition, if you will, from childhood that I knew I'd end up in a wheelchair and people were surprised that I was so okay with it even though it happened sooner than I had anticipated and I don't ''look back.''..' I've feel like I transitioned well into this change, however depending on people have been to toughest change some of the time since I was THAT person that could be called on in a time of need.  Anyway, I'm learning to accept help with grace more and more, remembering the feelings it gave me when I lent someone a hand. I'm generally 'happy,' but feel I could be happier.  Look forward to participating and get away from making my story about my quadriplegia playing the central role in my life. .

Hi Veronica. Two years ago I was "stricken" - literally woke up one day - in incredible pain. Eventually I was diagnosed w/Rheumatoid Arthritis. About a year ago someone gave me the book "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself" by Dr. Joe Dispenza. It challenged everything I was taught or thought I knew about myself and the people around me. I also joined a group @Curablehealth.com. It's a group that approaches health issues  & chronic pain from a different angle, the mind body connection. There are people from around the globe discussing health issues and the resources I find there has helped w/my journey, which is ongoing. The support is amazing. I have learned so much about myself. I don't know anything about your health situation but just wanted to chime in on some things that have helped me. Help is such a small word. These resources have literally changed my life.

hey Veronica, I'm a human, who accept the reality as it is,and in the same moment I'm surrendering in front of our great roots. So I'm always looking for the process, which will start the change I want. And yes, best one is immediate one. You said, I had a 'premonition', so are you interested to consider the quantum possibility to had a 'premonition' to fully heal your body. A 'premonition', that next night your own cells will get in a dream, how they heal itselves. Friend of mine told me, now as I got phd in psyhotherapy I rejected lots of ideas of Jung and Freud. Okey, was my answer, than told me, what is the most important, what are you trying to tell me? The most important is what you want, for what you are ready for? Warm regards,
