Hello all, 

I am new to happiness.com       I strive daily to live my life honoring my deceased son, Ethan in a way that allows me to pay it forward to others.  Eleven years ago, Ethan at the age of 17 took his own life.  I am currently enrolled in a Master degree professional counseling program to become a counselor.  It is my hope that I can help individuals bereaved by suicide once I am licensed.  Any chance I get to tell my story is a way I feel I can help others by paying it forward.  Thanks

Hiya. Iam so sorry to hear about your son Ethan. Iam just coming up to the first anniversary of my beautiful neice taking her own life on November 12th last year. It is all the un answered questions. I never thought there could be a pain so raw. I have been trying my best to support my sister but as close as iam to the whole situation only she knows the pain left behind. 4 other kids to be here for and iam relieved my sister is still here as it was rocky. Iam sure your journey as Ethans mum has been a hard one and I'm sure he is very proud of you. Well done on your counselling course. Iam sure you can help many people but even if you only helped one, it would be one less family to go through this heartbreak. Be proud and have a great weekend. Xc
