Are you conscioues about your thoughts in your daily life?

When you recognize Your thoughts as unwholesome, what do you do to get Your thoughts more toward wholesome?

A few years ago I went to a workshop. Today I remember only one thing about that workshop. The woman giving the workshop said that as soon as she has negative or unwholesom thoughts and she's aware of them or she notices that she's beating herself up or being unkind to herself, or using words like "I can't, this is too much, I don't know how etc.", she says "Cancel" and then replaces all the negativity with positive thoughts and outcomes.

I think back to that advice often. It does actually work ;)

True consciousness is still and has no thoughts. Our mind is a manifestation. It is this mind who builds the train of thoughts. Consciousness is ever still and watches as the train passes, unaffected by the emotions created by the train of thoughts. But it is aware. So just let it be, let the trains go through. But don't get on to one.
