You can get past it . There are steps to take to overcome depression.

It is up to you. You can either choose to be miserable for the rest of your life, therefore, making everyone around you miserable or you can find different things that make you happy. Maybe some things that will pull you out of the slumps.

Welcome to happiness Premji ?  I'm sorry to hear you're feeling depressed and are struggling with anxiety. You've already got some support from other members here which is lovely to see, but I also wanted to share a few articles that you might find helpful:

I live with anxiety disorder, I am successfully managing it much of the time now with a good diet, gentle exercises/stretching and breathing. Sometimes I use low dose beta blockers to prevent a panic attack but I don't use any other meds. There are medications to treat depression and anxiety though.
