Positive thinking is a mental attitude that does not mean simply looking at one thing in a positive light but having a more wide-ranging view of optimism. By contrast, pessimism is a state of always – or mostly – looking at things in a negative light. Many situations are obviously bad and looking at them positively can mean being creative and putting some effort in. That said, even very dire situations will often have some aspect where positive thinking can make a difference. Think of it like seeing the silver lining on a rain cloud or considering your glass to be half full rather than half empty. As such, it is about altering your mental habits to make a deep-rooted difference in your whole life as well as those around you.
In the past, any definition of spirituality would have been very tightly correlated with certain religious beliefs that focus on the godliness or spirit within people. In other words, spiritual people would have been seen as devout, pious and concentrated more on sacred or metaphysical matters than earthly ones. These days, however, a more extensive definition of spirituality is accepted, which includes broader traditions that lead to personal growth. Examples of this could be, the sort of inner journey that many people take from meditative practices and non-religious activities like transcendentalism and perennial philosophy.
Photography is image-making that makes use of light to produce a picture. In some cases, electromagnetic radiation outside the field of visible light is also used to create images, usually for scientific or astronomical purposes. In most cases, the light will be captured via a lens which is then recorded digitally or reacts with a light-reactive membrane, known as film. Photography can be used to create stills or moving images. Prior to the invention of modern photography, people would paint or sketch images to record them. Although such practices continue to this day, taking photographic images is now much more common for anything from recording evidence of crimes to portraiture.
