Sala Aditi opened its doors in 1992, as a school that aspires to create awareness through different disciplines, managed by a team of professionals with extensive experience in their field. Aditi is the name of an Indian goddess and means ""the one that dissipates the darkness"".
Sala Aditi is located in Barcelona's Old Town in a historic building from 1864. Completely renovated, on the fourth floor with elevator, Sala Aditi offers two rooms for group or individual sessions.
At Sala Aditi, one can expect to find classes of Hatha, Ashtanga, dynamic and vinyasa yoga, yoga for pregnancy, pilates, family constellations, voice workshops, emotional postural rehabilitation, and alternative therapies. The teachers at Sala Aditi promotes physical and mental wellbeing in their yoga practices through movement and exercises coordinated with breathing. Particular importance is given to alignment with the earth's axis of gravity, body awareness, concentration, breathing and relaxation. The Feldenkrais Method is offered at Sala Aditi every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It is a system of somatic education that uses conscious movement and directed attention to seek efficient and healthy movement patterns and to improve posture and refine motor skills.
