Members Popular Post El**** Posted April 7, 2020 Members Popular Post Posted April 7, 2020 Once upon a time... was a beautiful land called Happiness. Everything in this land was ordinary and usual. Land of Happiness was no different from any other place. Life there was in constant flow of cycles and routines. All changes and movements were in ongoing interplay with stillness and stability. Safety and danger were in balance. Days followed nights and Springs followed Winters. All living things were competing and cooperating in a complex net of mutual interdependence. Everything and everyone in the land of Happiness seemed happy. Until...one day, it was discovered that far, far away is another land, the land of Unhappiness. Yet, everything in that distant land seemed ordinary and usual. Land of Unhappiness seemed no different from any other place... except that everyone in this land seemed unhappy. One day, a brave traveller brought the good news to the inhabitants of the Unhappiness land : " Happiness can be pursued". And from that time on, everyone in Unhappiness land became more and more aware of their sense of belonging to the land of Unhappiness. Yet, the more they talked about it ,the more depressed and anxious they felt. "Depression and anxiety" had become the most frequently used words in the land of Unhappiness, closing its borders tight around its inhabitants. The need to pursue happiness implied the presence of an illness. In order to become happy, the inhabitants of Unhappiness land were more and more focusing on the illness. At the same time in a far away land of Happiness everyone was talking about how happy they feel when their day starts with a song of a bird. How nice it feels to have a warm cup of tea in the morning, how good it is to meet a friendly neighbour, how much easier it is to go through the day at work with a smile, how good it feels to share a conversation with a friend, how awesome it is to travel the world, how good it feels to create, how great it is to share, and how...How grateful they are that they belong to the land of Happiness.
