Loneliness

Do you mean loneliness during the pandemic? I think it's normal to feel this way and also fairly common during this pandemic.

 

We had a very long, very strict lockdown in Spain early last year and I felt lonely too. What helped for me was the following:

- Calling a friend or family just to talk, listen or share how I feel, if I feel like it.

- Keeping a routine for meal times, bed time, exercise, work and things I like doing.

- Doing a free online course (we have a couple here in the happiness Academy)

- Doing something completely out of my comfort zone.

- Taking a break from my phone or laptop to read a book, sit in the sun, listen to music/radio.

- Joining an online community (which you've already done ?)

- Watching movies.

- Taking walks (if this is accessible to you).

- Read some feel-good news.

 

I know it's incredibly challenging and what works for me won't necessarily work for you too, but try to remember that it won't be this way forever. It will pass and things will go back to a new sense of 'normal' and all will be well in the world. I send you a virtual hug and hope it gets better for you.
