For the longest time, I believed happiness to be something that came from outside – like getting a promotion at work, traveling to a dream destination with my partner, or purchasing something from my wishlist. And yes, indeed, these events do make me happy.

The first step toward developing resilience is reframing your perspective about life’s uncertainties and embracing the unknown.
